PEWAG Site Development
Introducing the PEWAG Project – a civil engineering site design by Dk Horn Engineering in the heart of Pueblo, Colorado. Our team spearheaded the development of a state-of-the-art 29,000-square-foot office/manufacturing facility, undertaking a multifaceted approach to ensure every aspect of the site seamlessly aligned with functionality and aesthetic precision.
In collaboration with key stakeholders such as the City of Pueblo, Pueblo Development Foundation (PDF), Pueblo Economic Development Corporation (PEDCO), PEWAG, Project Architect, and other esteemed consultant team members, our efforts were focused on delivering a project that not only met but exceeded expectations.
The scope of our work encompassed the entire spectrum of site design, from truck and passenger vehicle access and circulation to the design of loading docks, parking facilities, and ADA-compliant access points. Our commitment extended to the design of utilities, drainage and retention ponds, stormwater management, and the planning of signage and striping.
Navigating the intricacies of municipal collaboration, our team worked closely with the Pueblo Fire Department and local utilities to ensure regulatory compliance and seamless integration with existing infrastructure. This collaborative effort reflects our dedication to fostering positive relationships within the community and regulatory bodies. We provided a set of construction documents, including detailed plans for Site, Utilities, Grading & Erosion Control, Parking and Striping, and Stormwater Management. Also throughout the construction phase, our team provided vigilant construction administration, overseeing every detail to guarantee the project site’s completion in 2014.
